Win7 Welcome screen language change

Hello everyone!

I have installed a Windows 7 a slovakian language pack. One beautiful day I have decided to change the language from Slovakian into English and than I have downloaded MUI english version for Windows 7. After installing that program everything has been changed into english exept the front page (Welcome) screen. J
Please could you help me to change that into english too.

Thank you in Advance!

Hello Fett,

This should be able to change the display language for you since you have Windows 7 Ultimate installed. It's for how to in Vista, but it's the same in Windows 7.

Here's how you change the language on Welcome, login, logout and shutdown screens:
  • Open Control Panel
  • Click Change display language under Clock, Language and Region (Control Panel Category view),
or click Region and Language (Control Panel Icon View)
  • Click the Administrative tab
  • Click Copy settings button
  • Check both boxes under Copy your current settings to
