    Win7 Welcome screen language change


    Hello everyone!

    I have installed a Windows 7 a slovakian language pack. One beautiful day I have decided to change the language from Slovakian into English and than I have downloaded MUI english version for Windows 7. After installing that program everything has been changed into english exept the front page (Welcome) screen. J
    Please could you help me to change that into english too.

    Open Region and language options from Control Panel - Administrative - Change system locale and put there english. Should fix this.

    Hello Fett,

    This should be able to change the display language for you since you have Windows 7 Ultimate installed. It's for how to in Vista, but it's the same in Windows 7.

    Here's how you change the language on Welcome, login, logout and shutdown screens:

    • Open Control Panel
    • Click Change display language under Clock, Language and Region (Control Panel Category view),
      or click Region and Language (Control Panel Icon View)
    • Click the Administrative tab
    • Click Copy settings button
    • Check both boxes under Copy your current settings to
