My connection are too slow to download newer build, and I think it's better just to wait for the final release

Windows 7 hides empty drives by default.

To view them go to windows explorer, tools, folder options. Select view tab. Part way down the list untick the box for "hide empty drives in the computer folder".

No, these 2 volumes are not empty. It was 4 volumes on the drive before I modified the partition with EASUS Partition Master (C, F, G ,H). Then I remove G and move F and H to make C bigger, since 7 needs a lot of space than XP ( I used XP before ). It's goes well without any problem. Then when I rename the H to G, this problem occurs. I don't know why. Now I can't even rename the label for F and G ... Is it only because I'm using 6801 or what? I've tried all the solution from this forum, but it's still there...

Drives not showing, folders/file icons/thumbnails not showing
I have just built a new computer, using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, however, I've noticed when I open Windows explorer, 3 out of 4 times it will continuously search for drives when opening up explorer and not show any drives that are installed. I've tried reformatting, using different hard drives, but...

My drives are not showing up in Windows Explorer.
Just like the title says, I can't see any of my drives in Windows Explorer and I can't figure out why. The Disk Manager knows they are there and they are even labeled properly (the hard drive as C; and the dvd drive as D:) but they won't show up in the Explorer window. I just recently switched from...

hard drives labels not showing in explorer
Hi all, so I've been trying out build 7100 for a few days on my system, which includes quite a bunch of hard drives (usually around 8 of them) and ever since I got to run Windows 7 for the first time, most HDDs are listed as "Local Disk" in its explorer, while they're obviously supposed to be...

win 7 not showing "network" attached drives in explorer
Let me explain. These are usb drives connected on a network usb hub. No issues with hub, software, sharing on the hub over network. The only small issue is that for example, clicking on my computer to show drives(which it works and shows them this way in preview task pane window), but on the left...
