I posted this in the Network forum but I probably should have posted it here. Mods feel free to remove other post.
I am an administrator and am attempting to change permissions for another user account. I am allowed to remove a particular user but when I hit "Apply" I get the following message
An error occurred while applying security information to:
C:\Users\(account name)\AppData\Local\Application Data
Access is denied.
If I slide that box away I can see what program it is attempting to change. For example, Adobe
I click "Continue", and it pops up again for another program or the error message is slightly different, it may be pointing to \History, etc.
I have to press "Continue" like 20 times. It looks like it applies to every folder where a change needs to be made, however it seems to eventually complete.
My question is: Is this default behavior and if not what do I do to resolve it? Are the changes actually occurring or not?
Thanks in advance!
FYI: these errors continue to occur even when changing permissions in safe mode.
