    Difference Between Screen Protector & Screen "Filter"?


    I was wondering if they're the same thing. Thanks..

    It depends on the screen and purpose.

    For the most part, they are one in the same. The description is inter-changeable.

    However, some claim to be 'privacy' filters as well.

    There is a small difference between them.
    A Screen Protector will be fixed to the screen like a film (can be removed if required, though not frequently).

    A Screen Filter will not be fixed on to the screen, but hang in front of the screen and can be removed whenever required.
