    I tried it and it didn't work Ted with 6801 key maybe when its actually released it will work

    The key wont work from earlier builds or from Vista RC builds either. When the beta is officially released it will be handed out with its own key.

    Oh you bast*rd!

    It knocked out my Vista activation again!

    These betas just don't like my OEM 'version'.....

    And I don't have a spare Primary partition to do my 're-activation' trick.

    So I'll have to delete ubuntu, install Vista, reactivate, format that partition and restore ubuntu. And I get to do it all again in about a months time.

    At least I'll see if the Acronis back up works

    Nope. With my Vista I *ahem* don't have to enter a key, nor do I use cracks or activators.

    I've probably said too much now...
