Hello everyone, i have this annoying sfc_os.dll is missing error and cant seem to fix it. Everytime i open i program an error pops up and says sfc_os.dll is missing, i have some screenshots below.

In this example, i opened up Guild Wars. After i click ok, this what i get...

After i click ok again, the game opens fine, it does this for pretty much everything. I've already ran sfc /scannow in cmd..and it cant repair the file. can anyone help me? :)

Im running Windows 7 Ultimate. O btw it would be helpful if anyone could provide me with a copy of there sfc_os.dll (win7-u version)

It may be that the reg key for that dll is broken. Try this:

Register DLL and OCX Files dynamically - neophob

    Hello Fluffy,

I do not have a Windows 7 U version, but the tutorial below will help show you how to extract this file from your Windows 7 installation disc. You may need to take ownership and "Allow" your account "Full Control" of the file in your current installation before you will be allowed to replace it with the extacted copy.

Extract Files from Windows 7 Installation DVD

    Hope this helps,
