Win 7 64bit version issue
I have an MSI gaming laptop (Model: GX720). It came with Win7 32bit and I decided to install the Win7 64bit version. My system is capable of running the 64bit version of Windows 7 (According to Performance Information and Tools and Windows 7 upgrade advisor). I tried installing Win7 64bit and when it finishes it hangs on "Starting Windows logo", I noticed that the HDD's flash light stops flashing, I left it there for about 10 minutes and nothing. I also tried "safe mode" and I noticed it hangs on "CLASSPNP.SYS".
I have installed 32bit from the same DVD and it installs successfully. Only the 64bit version seems to fail, but, only on my laptop because on my mom's, my brother's, and my girlfriend's laptop -64bit and 32bit works perfectly with the same DVD I'm using to install my 64bit version. My system's specs are:
-Intel® 45nm Montevina Core™ 2 Duo Processors P7350 2.0GHz - 2.4GHz 3MB Cashe 1066MHz FSB (Centrino 2)
-4.00GB DDR2-800MHz Dual Channel Memory
-NVIDIA® GeForce®130M-GT 512MB DDR3 + Turbo Cache - 17" WXGA (1600 x 900) TFT display ACV
-SATA Hardrive 320GB
Any ideas? Thank you.
