Effect Dialog box - I lost it...

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite T135D laptop. In navigating around and trying to get familiar with the control panel I somehow activated the "Screen Cover" - and I don't know what that is. After it sat for a while I got a message indicating something like the Screen Cover had been on for 30 minutes and it could be turned off by going to the Screen Cover page in the "Effect" dialog box. I have tried opening most of the control panel options that might relate to this but I sure can't find it again. Can anyone help me out?? How do I get to the "Effect" dialog box? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me!

Hello Akamsj, and welcome to Seven Forums.

I found this quote below that sounds like your issue.

Sounds like you somehow have activated the web camera Effects - Screen Cover image option.
    • Open the Toshiba Web Camera Application
    • select Effect
    • select the Screen Cover tab
    • select the Off option
    • click OK to save the setting change.
Once done, The blue bubble image that is shown in the live web cam video window should go away and you should now have live web cam video. If you get a picture frame around the live video then check the Picture Frame tab and ensure it's set to Off.
    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
