    Accidentally Disabled Admin Account


    I was trying to create a different account with Administrator access and accidentally disabled the Admin access on my original User Account......so, I now have no users with any admin access. I effed up bad.

    Anyway to get around this other than just reinstalling the OS? Thanks.

    Go into Safe Mode, enable built-in administrator account, reboot and log into administrator account, and then assign administrative privileges to the other account as desired.

Admin Account Disabled By Default
in Installation & Setup

Just loaded 7 and the administrator account is disabled by default. Now since the only account available is a guest account, how do I get logged in as the administrator? How do I make it active with no admin rights?
