Windows 7 always locking up after upgrading from Vista

Howdy!

I upgraded from Vista 64 to Windows 7 64 and even since windows is locking up. Typically a couple minutes after I boot up. After restarting I can use it for a while then 20 minutes later it locks up again and I have to reboot.

Is there a fix for this?

Welcome

Try in safe mode. If it works do a clean boot to find the cause.

There is probably some sort of conflict.

If that does not work, in search, type memory diagnostic and see what you find.

YOu can also type event viewer in search and look for errors.
