7077 most responsive and stable yet (most unlike vista)

Ive had no problems what so ever with W7. Not one bsod not one freese so i have to pull the plug to reebot. I have one machine i the closet i just have to have xp on since i need it for my webpage editor since it needs ie7 to do some stuff but i talked to me suplier off the the webpages and ass soon as i do not need ie 7 im all w7. And yes i am thinking of actualy buing w7

Edit: Ive tried all leaks and innstalled w7 on 7 Machines and all have been grat. Evan the 7 years old Laptop with 512 mb ram

I've tried basically every build since the 6801, both in x86 and 64bit flavors. I'm currently running three different builds on three different machines:

Desktop PC -> build 7000 64bit
ThinkPad T60 laptop -> build 7077 64bit
IdeaPad s10 -> build 7068 x86

Out of all builds I (as of now) experience the 7077 as the best one (though I have to admit that I haven't encountered that many problems with any of the builds prior to the 7077)

Dual-booting Win7 x86 7077 and Vista32 SP2 rtm.
7077 is best build of Win7 for me.
Vista SP2 is no slouch either and almost as quick.
When Win7 goes rtm I will probably continue dual-booting till I make the switch to x64.

Aside from a few apps that are still not fully compatible, I have no reason to log on XP anymore. Win7 has been rock solid!

I have noticed some extra stability (plus the whole WMP12 minimize issue is fixed) & performance (even with my specs LOL). There's mainly increased device drivers which allows for better open support for various (some older) hardware.

I am with you guys on this, have tried and tested from 7000, and this build 32bit and 64bit is deffinately the fastest and most stable. The only issue I'm having, and its only on the 64bit is that I can't eject any flashdrive from the 'safely remove' icon in the taskbar. (I can from within 'my computer' though.)

i expected another 5 years before an OS would come along and free me from XP. i started using build 7000 the day it was released to public and i haven't looked back since. 7 is not only better than Vista, but it's way better than XP in every way. that's saying a lot considering XP has been around for what 10 years now? 7077 is definitely the best build as well. i'm probably going to be running 7077 as my main OS until retail hits shelves. then i'll actually walk into the store and purchase a copy @ full retail price.
