Uh oh, I think a screwed up the Admin account

I got a new computer and went into the computer Management and changed the password on the Adminitrator account. But I forgot to uncheck the "account disabled" box. Now I cannot install any software, because I get a message that "operation requires elevation", and I cannot log in as administrator, because the account is disabled.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

    Thanks

Hello Afrilling, and welcome to Seven Forums.

See if you are able to boot into Safe Mode, enable and log on to the built-in Administrator account while in Safe Mode, then enabled your other account again.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Thanks. I got it. I was talking to my network administrator and he logged in with his "ADMIN" password, and it took it, so I was able to change what I needed.

I was freaking out for a minute there.
