i want to disable click on the location to get the start menu
disable entire start menu.

Instead of disabling the Start Menu (which I don't think can be done, btw), have you instead rather tried just replacing the Windows Shell (explorer.exe) with an alternate. In other words, with you application.

But i have done start menu disabling in XP and Vista Systems . thats why i am searching for Windows 7. and its not a big deal to change explorer.exe throght resource hacker. | | My System Specs | | OS windows 7 Ulitmate

Control Panel -> Taskbar and Start Menu -> Uncheck "Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop". This will disable Aero Peek Aero Peek - Turn On or Off
