    Click the Start Orb, type "Local" into the search box (without quotes), then click on "Local Security Policies" in the search results...

    Hey Dzomlija ,
    i got local security policies window, But i couldn't seen any option to disable start menu. Its an urgent task for me .

    Instead of disabling the Start Menu (which I don't think can be done, btw), have you instead rather tried just replacing the Windows Shell (explorer.exe) with an alternate. In other words, with you application.

    I've seen it done with some Point Of Sale systems to prevent cashiers from doing anything else other than P.O.S.

    Thanks for suggestion Dzomlija, and my application for Hotel Users .
    But i have done start menu disabling in XP and Vista Systems . thats why i am searching for Windows 7. and its not a big deal to change explorer.exe throght resource hacker.

    Control Panel -> Taskbar and Start Menu -> Uncheck "Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop". This will disable Aero Peek
