Windows 7: Help needed - i am unable to delete files

Windows 7 will not let me delete folders off a data drive. My username has administrator privileges so I am perplexed why I am not allowed to do just about anything! I even went to Start, Accessories, and right clicked on Explorer and chose to run it as Administrator and tried that way to delete the folders. No go, Windows 7 keeps telling me I need administrator permission to do so. When I right click on the folders I want to delete there is not option I can even see for changing permissions other than checkboxes for Read Only. How the f%^k can I delete the folders?

Seems like you have a permssons problem. can you upload a screenshot of the permission tab of a sample folder?

The tool didn't work for me although I did see it when I reght clicked. Tried to set the permissions on the drive but got a system volume error, then tried to set the permission on the folder itself for creator owner and it wouldn't accept that either! Very frustrating!!
