    Help needed - i am unable to delete files


    Windows 7 will not let me delete folders off a data drive. My username has administrator privileges so I am perplexed why I am not allowed to do just about anything! I even went to Start, Accessories, and right clicked on Explorer and chose to run it as Administrator and tried that way to delete the folders. No go, Win7 keeps telling me I need administrator permission to do so. When I right click on the folders I want to delete there is not option I can even see for changing permissions other than checkboxes for Read Only. How the f%^k can I delete the folders?

    Seems like you have a permssons problem. can you upload a screenshot of the permission tab of a sample folder?

    The tool didn't work for me although I did see it when I reght clicked. Tried to set the permissions on the drive but got a system volume error, then tried to set the permission on the folder itself for creator owner and it wouldn't accept that either! Very frustrating!!
