    I have two taskbars (and I only want one)


    Hi. I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 enterprise, and for some reason, I have two task bars. Like, one is on top of the other, and I can move it to other parts on the screen. I can move and customize both taskbars, but I only want one. Have you ever heard of this problem? And how can I fix it. Thanks.

    Can you post a screenshot? Search for snip in the start menu.

    I would, but the second one just went away. I just went to taskmgr and killed Explorer and restarted it, and the second one was gone. Strange.. Thanks for your help though.

Hello, I have been using Ubuntu for a while on my HP Mini when XP got corrupted. I really like how Gnome has two taskbars, one on the top to launch programs and for shortcuts etc. and one on the bottom with the windows that are open. Is there any way for me to get this in Windows? I do not need it...

Two Taskbars on Install?

I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and when it first booted up, I had 2 task bars. Is there a reason this is happening? Anything I can do to fix it short of reinstalling? http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/393/2taskbars.png
