Ok here goes. If you are doing this on a Mac it really is as simple as selecting the file, hitting enter and manually changing the file extension from .DMG to .ISO, I have done this many times before and it seams to me they are just interchangable, the only thing I would look out for is if the DMG has fancy backgrounds etc. but I don't think that should be a problem. There is a safer but more long winded way to do this through disk utility by mounting the DMG and selecting it in Disk Utility, then click the big new image button at the top and simply look for the ISO option in the drop down menu while you are saving the new image.
Hope this answered your question, Oli. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Apple MacBook 5,1 OS Windows 7 Profesional x86, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard CPU Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz Memory 4GB DDR3 Graphics Card Nvidia 9400m Monitor(s) Displays 13.3" Internal + 22" DVI + 21.5" USB Screen Resolution 1280x800 + 1920x1080 + 1920x1080 Keyboard Apple Late 2009 Wireless Keyboard (US) Mouse Apple Magic Mouse Case Aluminium Unibody Hard Drives Internal SATA 2.5" 500GB (395GB Mac HFS+, 105GB Windows NTFS)

Have you tried just changing the file extension on Windows from DMG to ISO? I have tried this on windows with various outcomes, mainly with Windows still associating the file with another program even though the extension has changed. Make sure you have a backup copy of the DMG just to be safe.
I hope this works for you, Oli. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Apple MacBook 5,1 OS Windows 7 Profesional x86, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard CPU Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz Memory 4GB DDR3 Graphics Card Nvidia 9400m Monitor(s) Displays 13.3" Internal + 22" DVI + 21.5" USB Screen Resolution 1280x800 + 1920x1080 + 1920x1080 Keyboard Apple Late 2009 Wireless Keyboard (US) Mouse Apple Magic Mouse Case Aluminium Unibody Hard Drives Internal SATA 2.5" 500GB (395GB Mac HFS+, 105GB Windows NTFS)

too bad you don't have a mac.
you could've used damage isolation, a one-step app.
apparently magic iso will do it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Apple 17" iMac MA199LL (Early 2006) OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (upgrade) CPU 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo Memory 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) (upgrade) Graphics Card ATI Radeon X1600 with 128MB GDDR3 memory Monitor(s) Displays 17-inch TFT active-matrix LCD, millions of colors Screen Resolution 1440 x 900 Keyboard Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 Mouse Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.0 Hard Drives Hitachi 320GB HDT721032SLA360 7200RPM SATA II (upgrade) Internet Speed 4 Mbps Antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials Browser Google Chrome Other Info WEI:

Also I apologise for my poor grammar in my previous post, the batteries in my keyboard died so I had to try and correct it only using the mouse

Just found this, I think it runs in command prompt which is a pain but as long as you know how to change directory it's fine. I was just trying to convert a BIG (7+gig) mac file to iso today myself and couldn't no matter what I tried.. though in my case the image might have been bad.......
ImgBurn didn't show mac file support at least on the web site... it does show NRG which is nero...
