Windows 7: Recycler Folder

Does anyone know of a good article that explains the logic behind the placement of the Recycler folder?



At my company we are seeing the folder being placed in different places on different client installs. From the myDocuments folder to c:\user\userid\AppData\..... for example.
I want to understand the logic that is supposedly followed in the install or initial startup, to understand how it gets to different locations.

Any good article or post would be appreciated.
