Best "Build" Curious (oem computers vs custom)

I'm curious as to what "build" is working the best for those of you who have OEM computers, such as HP, Compaq, Dell, Sony, etc...

If you have purchased any version of Windows and have built your own computer, then what version of Win7 "build" works the best for you?

    This is my own study

My PC (See specs) runs the best on build 7077.
No problems yet. As good as any retail version.

Well, I have both a custom built rig, and an HP laptop.

On the laptop, 7068 x86 has seemed to run the best to me. 7077 x86 was very slow, and 7077 x64 was faster, but not as fast as 7068.

On my custom rig (see specs), 7077 x64 is the only build so far that hasn't once given me a blue screen...it's stable and fast, and exactly what I want from Win7.

At least until a new build leaks

i have a pretty much 'stock' dell vostro 1000 (no laughing!!) but with the addition of a 500 gb HD and 7068 x86 worked best for me. i am currently running 7077 x86 and it seems a tad slower but i always love running the latest build...which hopefully i'll have to update soon

I quit updating after installing 7048 on my custom Home Theater PC (see specs). It's been running 24/7 with Reliability Index average of 8.5 for over a month now and 7 Media Center is much improved over Vista Media Center. Not planning to update build numbers on this machine again unless the RC adds features I need. It's my everyday Media machine. I have another older custom built that I'll run the RCs on when they appear.

In this very short study/survey, I'm suspecting that 7068 works best with OEM computers. :) Am I right?

My laptop is OEM (specs filled out). 7077 works better/faster than 7068.

Same, I have a Compaq Laptop that quite clearly performs best under 7077.

    Self-build (see specs)
    7077 best out of 7000, 7048, 7057, 7068, and 7077
