Windows 7: Will Windows 7 run smoothly on a non-powerful computer?

Windows 7 7201 x64

Im running build 7100 on my p4 1.6 with 512M ram with integrated video. I just had to adjust for best performance and it works fine. It stalls a little bit now and then but otherwise is good.
