    Files Compression

is it okay to compress files/folders?
[right click - properties - General - Advance - 'Compress contents to save disk space']

is it advisable to do that on Program Files, maybe?

    Hello jamichaels.

Every time I've seen someone mention doing this the outcome has always been bad, I would strongly advise against doing that, not a good idea as you may well FUBAR your install.
