    i dunno where i am heading for ...
    perhaps i am looking for some sort of win32 executable ...

    how to pin those batch files to start menu?
    i couldn't seem able to pin those things to start menu.

    Hello William, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Both of the shortcuts (not scripts ) above can easily be Pinned to Taskbar or Pinned to Start Menu.

How can get Shutdown off of the start menu? I do not have the professional edition so I cannot use group policy editor (Thanks MicroS&&k!). Why? I accidentally hit the shutdown button when I just want to log off or switch user. Of course, when I clisk Shutdown, it's too late... Thanks.

Hey, is there a way to add a "Are you sure?" to this button in the start menu ? So many times i click it when i meant to just lock my PC. And theres no way to stop it! Or is there a way to remove the button and only use the drop box cos at least i won't click shutdown by accident then! Hope...
