    Windows 7 Upgrade...Both Vista & Win7 Home??

i have a laptop that runs Vista Business edition,
I also have a Gateway desktop that runs Windows 7 home edition.

If I buy an upgrade CD to Windows 7 Professional, would i be able to upgrade both computers with this 1 upgrade CD?

    thank you!

Windows comes with one license, meaning only one install to one computer.

However, you can use the Anytime Upgrade Option on your Gateway that this running Windows 7 Home Premium. This is a more economical way to upgrade than puchasing a full version of Windows 7 Professional.

    thanks for the responses....

On my laptop running Vista Business....
I want to upgrade to the Win 7 Pro but and I want to completely remove Vista and only have Win 7 on the system....Will the upgrade version remove Vista? or will it remain hidden on the system (i have a small HD that space is of the essence!)

if there is a certain install method to accomplish this, please let me know what it is called so I can properly research it before moving ahead..

    thanks.

    thank you for the link,

i should of added 1 other condition, i have several apps that is too much trouble to reinstall... would a clean install with upgrade WIN 7 completely remove all apps and I would need to reinstall them?

if NOT doing a "clean install" leave a vista somewhere on my system?

    thanks
