    Windows 7 Active Desktop


    Hey Guys...

    Is there an active desktop for windows 7...

    Something like a weather one or summit?

    Example... if its raining, then the screen is all wet etc, and vise verca for the sun...

    Something like HTC Sense on the HTC HD2???????????

    Well officially, Active Desktop has been replaced with Gadgets since Vista. To activate them, right click on the desktop and choose Gadgets. Just drag them out of the Window to your screen. You can download more from here: Windows Live Gallery

    Yeah, Im not looking at gadgets,

    Search the HTC Sense and have a look... im on about my whole background....

    For instance, if its raining, my backround will be too... and it will display data etc etc... get what i mean?

    I knew what you meant from the first post. Closest I can think of is Dreamscapes. There's a tutorial for it under the Appearance category in the Tutorial section.

hello I have to install 2x HDD SATA in same desktop, they are clones. each of them has 2 partition, 1 active windows 7 (boot) and one logical for data its a temporary situation, the goal is to drop the active partition on the second HDD how will react the system with this conflict...
I was not happy that Microsoft removed Active Desktop which had been one of my favorites since Windows 95 with the release of Vista. I know it is considered a security risk, but I don't care. Desktop Frozen but Active
in Graphic Cards

I have a strange issue whereby if I leave my desktop for a long period of time, say an hour or more, then when I return the desktop is frozen. I usually am able to wiggle the mouse after a few tries, but often times thats all that responds. Other times a wait of up to 5 minutes will be sufficient...
i think thats what its called, where i can put a animated pic as wallpaper and it animating how do i enable it? i have not been able to since XP
Dear All you kind folks, I am trying to have a web site with clickable regions on my desktop so the clickable region update on the desktop. How is this done? John:cry:
