    Win 7 ultimate 32 bit & 64bit

Want to know if I can install both win 7 32 bit and 64 bit on the same drive, or do i need to use partition magic to create a second partition and install the 64bit afterwards.

Want to have the 2 system, because some games don't run good in 64bit mode

    Thanks

Yes you can. It works just fine.

EDIT: Wait... You cannot install 2 operating systems to the same partition.... But you can create multiple partitions on the same drive, and you can install 1 OS to each partition. Assuming that is what you meant, the answer is still yes.

If you meant installing 2 OSes on 1 partition, that is impossible, you need a second partition.

Don't use partition magic - it's not compatible with Vista/7.

Use the free Free Partition Manager Express - Leading partitioning software ...

    Then yes, it will work.

But as said above, don't use Partition Magic. Use Computer Management -> Disk Management and partition it that way.

Boot the 7 dvd and run startup repair.

If it can't fix it automatically, go to command prompt and type:

    bootsect /nt60 all

    then press enter.

Here's a bit more about setting up a dual boot, so you can play your games :): Can I have more than one operating system on my computer (multiboot)?. Good luck with the setup.

    Cheers,
