    Hello Brink,
No need to remove. Just disable click on that show desktop button.
Please can you tell me the solution for disabling that show desktop. I read some articles regarding this. no one giving appropriate answer. is there any tool or 3rd party software to disable(Show desktop) that button.
    I need it urgent.

    Hi mitchell65,
You are right . i need to disable that functionality (Rounded one).
Iam doing a project in .net. Its client requirement. Its POS project. So user cannot access the desktop
Just read you previous thread again. I don't see that you can stop a user from accessing the desktop. What point would that serve and when you boot up a PC what would you see if not the desktop?

What you want to do can't be done IMHO. However what just might work is setting the text size to about 175% in the Custom size option. This might take the task bar below the bottom level of the screen. But then you would need to work out how to deny permission to the dedicated User account to access any personalizations. Not a very practical solution though.

I was thinking this was POS (point of sales)

Usually, POS terminals have an overlay that makes it so the user can't exit the POS window (keeping employess from doing stuff on the computer other than work)

the only way I have seen this is to run the program as full-screen

oh and disabling the alt-tab command while in the program window
