    Hi guys, i keep getting this error whenever i try to go to my control panel or play a movie. Could someone tell me how to rectify this please?

    I get this message when i try to open control panel or play a movie. Can someone help me please?

    If the error just began fix with system restore.

    If it is an old problem, try some of the alternate means to access CP.

    Post back if these suggestions are not satisfactory.

    OK, dont get discouraged, I try with the easiest thing first. Try this one.

    Go to search
    type cmd, do not hit enter
    Right click, run as administrator.

    In cmd type sfc /scannow. If errors are found try 3 times. Get back to me.

    If the above does not work, this one should.

    But try the above first.

    I found the problem, i went to add remove and found this program Search Settingsv1.2.3 and uninstalled it. Whatever that was it was the problem. Dont no where that came from, anyway thanks for your help!!!!!
