How do you reset Action Center alerts

Action Center alerts says that Norton reports that it is turned off and a second one that Windows and Nort6on firewalss are turned off.
When I check they are actually ON!!
There is no date information when these alerts were generated and I can't find anywhere to reset the alert or acknowledge it so I don't have the little red X on the flag saying i should check it.
I don't want to turn off the alert for these alerts.
Of course there is a fundamental question of why the alert is there but until I can determine iof it is a current alert or not I don't know where to start,
If I do turn off those alerts then turn them back on, they are still there!
Can anyone tell me where to reset the alert?

Right Click on the action center flag. Open action center, change settings. You can turn off the setting for A/V. I have noticed that it only seems to work propelry if you are using MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials)

I just hadn't realised i had to stand on my head, face north by north west and wait for a gale force wind
They could have made that a lot more obvious couldn't they!!!
    Thanks again.

    Try going to;
    "Control Panel"
    "System and Security"
    "Action Center"
"Change Action Center Settings" - Top right link.
"Problem Reporting Settings" - Bottom blue links.
"Select programs to Exclude from Reporting" - Middle blue text link.

You can choose to exclude the program if you wish.

I'm very sorry but I cannot be sure about that... You could try the usual, reboot and see if it works.
