    Find File Problem

Hi -- Need a little help here. I have Win 7 and did a search for a PDF file that I made when I had XP. I felt sure I had restored it to Win 7 from my XP files. When I did a search I found the file in C:\Documents and Settings. I couldn't find Documents and Settings and got to thinking that possibly that was a XP folder and Win 7 did not have it. I still have my Windows.Old folder on my C:\. Is Documents and Settings a XP folder and not Win 7 and do you think I am getting the hit for the file because it is still in my WIndows.Old folder? I thought I would ask before I take the time to open up the Windows.Old folder which takes a while.

    Thanks,

There is a document and settings folder for both XP and Seven. In my opinion your search can be looking at the documents and settings in windows.old

I think you've answered your own question there.

EDIT: Maybe not then, but also think the file will be in your Windows old folder.

Thanks to both of you. I thought I was going wacky there for a while. All though neither of you have confirmed that I am not going whacky.
