registry access through Cisco Anyconnect client

I have an application that works without issue through a Cisco Anyconnect client on XP and Vista, but not on Windows 7. It also works on Windows 7 when accessed locally (no Cisco Anyconnect client). When I try to use it on Windows 7 through the Cisco Anyconnect client, I get an error message "cannot create key handles". Process monitor shows that it is not able to access or use the registry sub-key (application\handles) located at the root of registry key HKCU. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? Thanks!

Hello lmayes, welcome to Seven Forums!

See if you can run the app in compatibility mode for XP or Vista and select "run as administrator", have a look at the tutorial at the link below and be sure to post back to keep us informed.
