| | Folder Sizes Why can't 7 remember folder sizes ? The excellent ShellFolderFix has sorted the user created Desktop shortcut folders but the others are annoying. Example - Excel 2007 - I click on the Open File button and if I am in a new session it opens a Win Explorer style open dialogue box top left corner about 4" x 3". I then have to drag it out to see all my files in list mode. It is then fine for the remainder of that session as it seems to remember the new size. Next day and back to the tiny box again! Excel is just one example, I have others, like Control Panel that seem to default back to a small default size on each reboot. XP remembered the whole lot correctly. |
