Windows 7: hmm strange

hmm strange

I downloaded a few pictures but i went too look
it had downloaded a whole folder and pics i hadn't seen
could that of been because i added the web page too favourites?
i scanned it with malware bytes and mcafee but it said it
there was nothing wrong

Windows 10, Home Clean Install

The website probably had a series of pictures that you could view, if you waited or hit next etc. If you scanned with malwarbytes you are ok.

While in Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+B. Find your bookmark, right-click on it, and select Delete.

Did you save the whole webpage, by pressing Ctrl+S? If so, it downloaded all images on the page.

For example, if I saved this page on SF, the folder would include images of my avatar, rep, badges, the Edit button, and your signature.
