Why did my interface fonts break?

Hi all!

I'm rather sure my interface fonts didn't look as crappy as they do now. What might have happened? How can I fix this? Reboot didn't help.

Try this tutorial: Fonts - Change

If nothing else works, a system restore would do the trick.

Thanks for the reply. I simply switched to another theme and then back to my custom theme. It fixed most of the fonts, but some of them are still hideous, even under other themes. I looked at the font-changing tutorial and went through all fonts available for change, but they were all Segoe UI.

Look at at the names of the aero themes... and the address bar in chrome. Ugh. Also, my MSN contacts are displayed with the ugly font from the screen in my first post. Skype contacts are fine. What font do I need to change to get to those areas?

I think the issue was caused by avi2dvd, but I have no idea how. Uninstalling it with Revo didn't help.

I don't have a system restore point as these small matters have been reasonably easy to fix in winXP and below and any system benefits from a clean install at some point.
