Windows 7 File Copy: Can't Find Skipped Files

Hello everyone. I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite with Windows 7 installed. I have never used 7, and upon copying files from an external drive to the C: drive I encountered an error stating that one of the folder names was too long. It gave me a couple of options, and I chose "skip." Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that it just skipped the folder. I can't find it anywhere, either on the external drive where I had copied it from or on the C: where I was trying to copy it. If anyone has any idea where these files are I would greatly appreciate it, as I could not find a temporary location or anything else of that sort.

    Welcome

Try this: In search, type several unique words that would be found in the folders. Maybe the entire title or a name of a special location, etc.

I gave that a couple of shots based on things I thought were in the folders, but it doesn't seem to be finding any of them. Any other ideas?
