My HP Pavilion Q8200, 8GB RAM, WIN7 scores low compared

MY HP Pavilion Intel CPU Q8200 scores low when compared with other CPUs, same Q8200, same RAM (8GB or less) same Graphics Express NVDIA 9400GT, WIN7, no applications loaded other than ESET NOD32 AV.
My HP gets only a score of 691 whereas a worldwide database for same CPU, same RAM, same Graphics card gets 1220, 1144, 1191, 1291 and higher.
I have deleted all cookies, de-fragmented my hard drive, reduced Restore points.
HP support is poor and spending 1 hour with them is useless.
Any ideas here???

What did you expect. These guys are trained to help little old ladies. All they do is go on Google and try to find an answer. One guy actually told me once on a question regarding their BIOS: "We are not trained to answer that question".

The Windows Performance Index overall is 4.5 and it is dragged down by the 4.5 in the CPU measurement.Other scores run as high as 6.9

Question , Q8200 OC
Hello, I have a pretty cheap quad core processor and I was wondering if I would be able to OC it and if so if there are any known safe zones? I currently have a Q8200 Stock @2.3GHz What I found out is that it only uses 6 multipliers instead of 7 so that would be though right? I am new to...

Windows 7 experience scores...Does RAM affect other scores?
Are areas other than RAM affected (score wise on the WEI assessment) by the amount of RAM you have? I had an A42JV notebook with 4gb, but it had some issues and I traded it in for K42JV which only has 2 GB. The processor and GPU are the same, yet now my Windows experience score for Aero...

Size of Win7 compared to Vista
I've just installed Win7 and reinstalled Vista so both are 'as new'. What struck me is the size of the respective 'Windows' folder - 14.6Gb (70,204 files) for Vista and only 7.7Gb (46,233 files) for Win7. Quite incredible. Either Vista was very poorly designed or some cutting edge technology has...
