So why didn't Microsoft..

Just wondering why they did not post new builds every two weeks? Lets see first 7000 official beta.Million downloads. Next 7022 another million plus a bunch of new people that missed the first download. Then the next two weeks another build and lets say maybe five million downloads and so on and so on. Did Microsoft miss the boat on a, whats that number? A trillion downloads of a beta software? mm alls I can think is man wish I owned a bit of stock in that company.

Cause they don't want buggy stuff out there? Imagine if they let people have 7057, major network issues for everyone! Not good.

Well that is a good point but I know someone who has 7000 on his home network and has never got it to recognize xp yet? I know I would be upset if I could not see my printer or my other files that reside on xp box.

I think they should have open Beta testing. If someone installs it and has problems then that's their own fault, they knew what they were getting into.It should at least be out there as a choice for people who want it.

Bingo! And as a member posted below...perhaps have open beta testing.

MS doesn't want to make software available that may have some major bugs. Thus, they don't want to be responsible for supporting 33580509 different builds with 03489358358348903403983 different bugs. See?
