Windows 7: can i export performance option/visual effects

windows 7 ultimate 32bit
 
 
can i export performance option/visual effects

Hi

in the system properties->advanced->performance

i set custom , and i disabled some effects i don't like



is there a way to export my setting ?
i guess i can do it with regedit
but i don't know where 7 store this setting

i guess i found them

right there [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VisualEffects]

can someone confirm ?

I exported those keys, then changed my settings from Explorer.

Then I restored the keys, but my changes were not undone.

did you reboot?

i'm almost sure Windows 7 store these settings in that regkey
are you able to detect where Windows 7 store them?

I did log off, but I didn't reboot. If you would like me to reboot, let me know, and I'll try to remember to test again next time I reboot.
