Screen Shots and Print Screen Programs

In many of the replys I notice "Screen Shots" and wondered how you do this in Windows 7? Also can they be saved in a folder for future reference? And is there a Print Screen utility in Windows 7 or a preferred Print Screen Program you recommend. Thanks for your consideration!

You do know about the snip tool in search?

Snip with the tool , then save.

Snipping tool is the easiest tool in this task. You can do also with printscreen button on keyboard and paste it in paint. There is a paid application Camtasia studio.

I would have to agree. I should add, I do not do not use it that often.

The last free version of Faststone Capture works very well with Win 7.

I have to agree with the snipping tool recommendation. I really do love it and use it all the time. Just last night I needed to take several screen shots (just a portion of a web page) and I moved from my XP laptop to my boyfriend's Win 7 desktop just to use the snipping tool. :) You even have the option to email the screen shot right from the snipping tool box!

    Cheers,
