legacy settings in Windows 7

Is anyone aware of any settings in windows 7 that would make it act like a previous version of windows? I had windows 7 reinstalled after having problems and after getting my computer back the quick launch icons are not behaving like they should.

If you describe the problem with the icons, we may be able to help.

I am not quite sure what you mean by the icons not displaying correctly. But, take a look at this and see if it helps you find a solution. - Quick Launch - Enable or Disable.
