Expand Windows.

Hi all, bit of a newbie to Windows 7

My problem is, I cant permanently expand windows. I have tried to drag the window to the required size, but when I re-open the same window, it is only part size.
This excercise used to work with Vista, XP, and 98, but for some reason, wont work on 7.

Any help, greatly accepted.

I assume you mean in Windows Explorer... Well tha news is that windows 7 opens the next window just below and to the right of the current window and it opens them all the same size as the last one. It does not individually remember folder windows sizes and positions.
