Windows 7 - Can't close windows?!

| | Can't close windows?! Hello all. I just "upgraded" to 7100. None of the red X's as in closing windows are working? In fact, I can't minimize, maximize, or close windows. Anybody have any idea? -M |

| | Make sure you got a good .ISO There are some corrupted ones out there. You might try another one. Sounds pretty bad if you can't even close windows. Good luck. |

| | I sorta fixed it. It has something to do with the watermark removals patch doing damage to a user32 file. I'm not sure how, but I got most of the functionality back by restoring the file. My Kaspersky virtual keyboard isn't working as input, but that could be related to other things. -MM |

| | The upgrading route has been a bit of a bugbear for Windows 7, so my advice is to always clean install. |
