    Can't close windows?!


    Hello all. I just "upgraded" to 7100. None of the red X's as in closing windows are working? In fact, I can't minimize, maximize, or close windows. Anybody have any idea?

    Make sure you got a good .ISO There are some corrupted ones out there. You might try another one. Sounds pretty bad if you can't even close windows. Good luck.

    I sorta fixed it. It has something to do with the watermark removals patch doing damage to a user32 file. I'm not sure how, but I got most of the functionality back by restoring the file. My Kaspersky virtual keyboard isn't working as input, but that could be related to other things.

    The upgrading route has been a bit of a bugbear for win7, so my advice is to always clean install.

Close Many windows at once

Not sure where to put this but: In XP and Vista, you could hold down Ctrl, left click more than one window in the taskbar, and right click and close all the selected windows at once. This doesn't seem to work in 7. Is this functionality still there but using different keys?
Close all Photoshop windows at once

Can it be done? I use PS Elements and sometimes I have 100 windows open but I have to close them 1 at a time. Control>alt>w doesn't do it and either does clicking on "close all windows" while holding the shift key down.
