Right im still using the 7000 build and have seen different builds pop up all over the place. So my question is should i clean-install from the 7000 build to this new RC im seeing everywhere?

And also whats the easiest way of replacing my files on this new OS?

Since we're now so close to the RC build, Id recommend waiting for that.

Im not sure what you meant by your last statement.

From 7000, yes definitely, as it was pretty buggy imo. But from 68 or 77, probably not.

Im still using 7000 as well (no need to fix it as it isn't broken), and not planning on updating until the final.

I used the Windows Easy Transfer to an 80 gb external HD for my settings & files on Beta 7000. Then did a new intall of RC 7100 x64 on the current C; drive. It saved the Beta 7000 to Windows.old on the C; drive. Loaded in the Easy Transfer files & settings. But had to re-intall a few programs. But most everything was still intact. It seems like the new x64 7100 is faster to me. Remember this is all still Trial & Error Testing

It hasn't been worth it for me, gone from a nicely working 7077 64bit to the new 7100 64bit and now none of the options in control panel do anything, can't open up customise for the taskbar, i click but nothing happens

Wish i'd stuck with 7077 now.
