    Do you normally use a theme? If so, try to apply it again.

    If you don't want the big icons, right click taskbar > properties > use small icons

    looks like you need to right click on the desktop then select 'personalize' then choose an aero theme maybe?

    Right click on the desktop go to "Personalize" and click on "Windows 7" under "Aero Themes"

Is there a way to make the windows media player toolbar on the taskbar like it used to be in vista and xp? im sure you used to just right click on the taskbar then click toolbars then windows media player but this option doesnt seem to be there in W7.
