Help, permament power save mode.

Yesterday I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my Nvidia Geforce 8800 Gt, so I went to the BIOS, and I accidently set the primary display, or whatever it was called to Onboard. So know my moniter is always on power save mode.

My computer is a HP Pavillion, SMD Athlon II X2 Dual-Core, 4 Gb of ram, and 620 GB of space.

Thanks for the help!

Well, have you tried reverting back what you did in your BIOS to see if the problem still persists?

Alwin, the problem is that when I turn on my computer. The moniter is still "power saving mode", and the moniter is plugged in. So am unable to see what am doing.

You will need to plug your monitor into the onboard graphics out socket. Then you can change your bios back. Then reconnect your monitor back to your graphics card.

Nevermind, I figured out which one is the onboard outlet. Thanks for the help! By the way, do I ask for a admin to close the thread or do I close it myself? As you can see by the post count, am new.
