    "unhide" a Folder

Hi, someone brought up "documents and setting" so I decided to try and find the equivalent appdata folder for windows 7. I was messing around in my administrator folder under users in c and checked "hidden" under properties (this was before I looked up how to show hidden folders!). Turns out this really messes with many of the programs that I use.

Is there a way to unhide the folder? I do not mean to show it on the screen but to revert it back to a normal folder?

inb4 flame as I am well aware there is another similarly worded but unrelated question.

Hidden Files and Folders - Show or Hide

Hope the information in the above tut helps.

Anything more than the above, a simple sytem restore should do the trick

Points for the fast reply. I've already checked out the tut before posting and found it didn't apply to my case. I know how to show hidden files. I want to make a hidden file not a hidden file anymore.

As far as I know you can hide a normal folder and hide or unhide a hidden folder. I do not know of a way to make a hidden folder an "unhidden folder"

Hmmm is it possible to revert my admin user folder back to it's default state? Surely there is an option to change hidden folders to unhidden.

As I said above, I would try a system restore, from before the problem.

Already have tried. The folder remains hidden.

Ahhh, this is my mistake. Sorry for not providing the correct info. The folder itself is not hidden. However, the files inside the folder are all hidden.
