    Privilege problem

First of all hello to all!

I'm having a serious problem with administrator rights and UAC (i think).

My dad was annoyed by having to press [enter] every time windows 7 boots... so, he deleted homeuser$ by using netplwiz leaving only his current account named VJ with administrator privilege/group. The idea was to make it boot directly to desktop without any prompt. The problem now is that he cannot start anything "as administrator" meaning every time that UAC asks something the YES button is gray (cannot be chosen).

Also, this account, VJ, has no password. I was reading sevenforums and tried to get a task with higher privilege but again, UAC gives no YES (as i said, it is gray).

Can you guys help me in any way - since i'm pretty sure he'll flip if has to reinstall w7 ?

    Cheers!

    Resolved.

For anyone else - go to safe mode: start > netplwiz > add user "HomeGroupUser$" then the group shoud be homeuser(s).

Sorry if anyone wasted time on this.

    Auto logon a specific userid

    To solve the original problem:

Press WinKey+R to open a Run box, type control userpasswords2 and press Enter
Select the VJ account then uncheck Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer then click the Apply button. Click OK then OK.

    That should do it.
