| | Operating system choices at startup Ok.. I installed Windows 7 a few weeks back, all is functioning as I believe it should. I am however curious as to why I now have to select the operating system at startup. I upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit from Vista Premium 64bit. Despite there being those two selections at startup, the only one that will actually boot to Windows is the on for 7. I am just wondering how I go about deleting this. Thanks Joe |

| | Welcome to SF! No problem; enter msconfig into the start menu, and press enter. In the Boot tab, select the other entry and click Delete. That's it! ~JK |

| | Look at your Disk management to make sure you don't have a second installation on another partition, which is how you get the Dual Boot menu. |
