It should work with FAT 32 anyways...

I don't think the card will need formatting. It looks from the manual as if it will record straight away to a new card. It will format in the camera automatically I think. I have two camcorders and that's what happens with them. I am always carefull though to only delete files whilst the card is in the camera. I did delete the files from one card whilst the card was in my internal card reader an it wouldn't then take any further recordings in the camera.
Well todays the day Guy's the New SD Card arived and I placed it in my ATC2-K Acrtion Cam and it worked Came up with 59min 17 sec on display.
So you were right the Camera does it all.
Many thanks for all your advise.
Regards and best wishes Bob:)
Just to let you all know fitted the new sd card and the Camera picked it up and formatted it. Now can record for 60 mins great Thanks for all the help Guys.
Regards Bob
I can veiw the recorded movies on my PC using my Fuji Film Phinepix software it works well even with Windows 7 and on my TV using my Netgear EVA9000 digital Entertainer this alows me to watch all my stored video files in DVD, Mpeg234(Divx) formats and more via a wifi link. They play well over my samsung 40" LCD TV.
I wanted to use the camera for recording the condition of my Loads on my Lorries Trailer while at work.
It just lets me have a record of there state in case there is a problem, managers cant get out of it!.
The video is good enough for this and its hands free as I can fit it to my Hard Hat.
Will let you know if I get any more problems. Regards Bob
you don,t need fat16.the only thing that matters that you get your sd card formatted on your pc to make it blank at the whole length.
download disk wipe v1.5 by google search
compatible with windos 7 x64
insert your sd card and select drive in the program
in says drive not regignezed but don,t mind that
go to disp wipe icon on the left and select your format.ntfs, fat ,fat 32 and format
in happens twice ,klick stop at the first time
than your sd card is blank and will be regognized on you mobile phone or camera on the full capacity of your sd memory card
it wood solve your problem
choose fat32

As stated early on, it's best to let the device format it itself. However, if the device doesn't offer that option (such as a generic MP4 player that I have) and it doesn't support FAT32, I had to find a way to format it in FAT16.
From a WINDOWS 7 command prompt, you can type "Format /FS:FAT E:" assuming E: is your sdcard.
